Azerbaijan provided financial assistance for the repair of the National Library of Ukraine for children

Azerbaijan provided another humanitarian aid to Ukraine, which is in a state of war.

As AZERTAJ reports, the State of Azerbaijan provided financial assistance for the reconstruction and repair of the children's shelter of the National Library of Ukraine.

Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Ukraine Seymur Mardaliyev, who spoke at the event in the library, provided detailed information about the humanitarian aid that Azerbaijan provides to Ukraine, expressed Azerbaijan's readiness to continue providing assistance to Ukraine in the implementation of infrastructure, social and humanitarian projects. The Ambassador also noted that Azerbaijan contributes to the rehabilitation of children affected by the war in Ukraine. The aid allocated today for the reconstruction and repair of the children's library shelter is an integral part of the humane policy of the Azerbaijan State.

General Director of the National Children's Library of Ukraine Alla Hordiyenko, expressing gratitude to the Azerbaijani State for its support, noted that in these difficult days, Azerbaijan supports Ukraine as a friendly and fraternal country. From the first days of the war, the State of Azerbaijan has been sending aid to Ukraine.

"Helping the library shelter is a contribution to the safety of children. We highly appreciate this humane step of the Azerbaijani state," Alla Gordienko said.

As part of the event, 169 books about Azerbaijan were donated to the library fund.
